About Stal Zegwaard Stal Zegwaard is one of the largest professional breeding farms of miniature horses in Europe. The miniature horses of Stal Zegwaard are descendants of the best bloodlines and breeders in the world. During the 90's mr. Zegwaard imported a number of the world's finest miniature horses in The Netherlands and started as a breeder. Right now Stal Zegwaard possesses 180 miniature horses, such as Falabella, American Miniature Horse (AMHA), Bergmann miniature and the miniature Appaloosas. Stal Zegwaard has thirty approved stallions. Each year approximately forty fouls are born. Due to an extended selective breeding programme these fouls are of high level and are therefore sold and employed all over the world. Stal Zegwaard once owned world's smallest miniature horse, named Mercader. Mercader was mentioned in the Guinness Book of records. Besides the extended breeding farm Stal Zegwaard offers the possibility to rent an approved miniature stallion. If you are interested please inform any time.
