Mowgli
If you really want to breed a tiny and colorfull
miniature horse, Falabella Mowgli really is the
ultimate stallion for your mare, with his 76 cm,
he is very small! It's in his genes, his father
Falabella Menecucho was a very small colt (70 cm).
This little rascal has his mares in foal each year
and he always goes around acting like a real macho
in the meadow.

Special Effort's
Navajo
We also make our European champion of 2002, Navajo,
available for rental. Navajo has really been a proven
stud, because he is the sire of a lot of first premium
mares and stallions in this world.
He comes from champion blood of the unfortunately
deceased AMHA stallion Special Effort. Navajo is
86 cm and provides luxurious and very leggy foals.
They can trot like the best!

Falabella
Gilette
This black panther spotted appaloosa stallion really
is a beautiful appearance! Falabella Gillette is
78 cm in height.
Most foals inherit his color and height. If you
are particularly interested in the appaloosa colors,
and pintaloosa you have a good chance that your
foal in 2013 gets his color!

First foal born from Argentina!
We are so proud of our beautiful Mare Falabella
Tizona, she is barely two months in the Netherlands
now and already she gives us a beautiful and healthy
filly.
It realy is a small miracle!
She is called Guadalupe Falabella and although she
is still black now, we expect she will become an
appaloosa just like her mother.
We still have a pregnant mare from Argentina, so
soon we hope that there is a small boyfriend or
girlfriend for her to play with.

Zegwaard miniature horses earn first premium during mare
inspection

Saturday the 27th of August, the annual N.M.P.R.S Mare
inspection took place. Again we are very proud of the
achievements of our mares, because they brought home a
few 1st premiums!
The foals we brought with us where SZ Golden Doll, SZ
Giant, and SZ Grazia. During the day they all performed
very well and as a result they all achieved a first premium.

new Falabella mares en stallions from Argentina
On August 20 ten Falabella mares and two stallions from
Argentina will be delivered to Stal Zegwaard. Argentina
is the birthplace of the Falabella horse bread. The horses
we choose this time are again all very small and gorgeous!
Each year Stal Zegwaard gets new horses from Argentina
and America so all foals will always be free of inbreeding
and we always have new bloodlines.

Global
Champions Tour
In the weekend of 12 t/m 15 August the Global Champions
Tour was held at the estate of Jan Tops in Valkenswaard.
The world's best riders gather here every year to compete
for the highest prize money in horse riding and to achieve
valuable point in the GCT ranking. It is also the most
prestigious competition in the world. Some regular customers
of Stal Zegwaard took part in the competition. We were
present with a booth to promote our horses and stable.

Stallion
inspection NMPRS
Saturday, april 9 the NMPRS stallion inspection
was held in Bunschoten and it was a very successful
day for Stal Zegwaard. Two young stallions went
to the stallion inspection and partisipated for
the first time.
Both stallions are approved and both stallions achieved
a first premium.
Don Paco achieved a 1a premium and was placed 4th
of in the champion inspection.
Da Vinci also achieved a 1a premium and was placed
5th of in the champion inspection.
Furthermore we brought with us our 1a premium stallion,
Star's Toetanchamon
and he became reserve champion! Star's to Hot to
Tango achieved a 1c premium and Falabella Vincenzo
a 2a premium. |

Gladiator
is born!!
Finally he is here! Gladiator was born a week later
than the due date so he kept us in suspense a bit
longer! It is so exciting to have a foal of Totilas.
Gladiator is a very tough stallion who quickly stood
and drank.
Gladiator
He immediately started exploring his stable at a
galloping pace. He stands in a stable of 20 meters
long so he kept his mother quite busy. He has a
blaze and 4 white feet and is really long-legged.
Milleke
His mother is Star Mare Milleke X Havidoff X President
X First Trial and he was born on 08-03-2011. Milleke
is also the mother of big black Jazz his son, Toots
where Imke Schellekens rides light tours with.
Half-brother of Milleke is Limited Edition. He run

first foal of 2011 has been born!!
Her name is Gelati and she is a full Falabella. Her mother
is Allegria who was born in Buenos Aires and her father
is the first premium Stallion and champion of the year
2008, Vincenzo (photo left).

Gelati is a very small buckskin / pinto colorful mare
with light eyes. Gelati is a very special appearance,
which we already have experienced a couple of times before
with offspring of Vincenzo.
He once has given us a perlino foal called Jacky's Falabella
Perlino.

Falabella Polvorin has it all! Polvorin is in Netherlands
for two years now, his native country is Argentina.
Within a few months he was taken to the inspection
and he immediately received a first premium. We
also took a few offspring to the inspection and
they all obtained a first premium.
Polvorin's offspring is well-known for its color,
movement and most of them are high legged. |

Acres Hello American Pie
American Pie is a new stallion we make available
for the AMHA lovers. This overo stallion is one
of the smallest (77cm) AMHA's in the Netherlands.
American Pie has also been to American shows last
year and there he pulled a lot of attention with

His offspring is well-known for its color, super
sweet character and its beautiful exterior. |

Babyface of Stal Zegwaard sold for 68.000 euros
at the Equine elite auction.

Our
beautiful Babyface (v: UB40) is covered by Totilas,
walked along the famous dressage horses called Equine
Elite auction in Weert. The mare is bred by us and
as a foal she was already fantastic. And now with
the predicate provisional-label and pregnant by
Totilas she was in the center of attention.
Babyface comes from Parinetta (v:Gregor). Parinetta
is now in foal of UB40. We are fortunate that we
alone can cover with this stallion. The half sister
of Babyface, Zarinetta (v: Houston) is an elite
Mare and she was |

New stallion at Stal Zegwaard!

This
is our new premium stallion Lookers Hot Spirit.
He was born on May 22, 2010. His mother is a very
nice first premium pintoloosa AMHA mare named Derby
Towns Shez a Looker.
At the last NMPRS mare inspection she was reserve
champion in the mini size luxury class. Shez a Looker
is also a very small mare and just 81 cm at the
withers. We expact Spirit remains very small, measuring
only 60 cm now! His father is the famous stallion
with first premium and preferent stallion, Het Veldhuis
Don Diego de la Vega (picture top left). Don Diego
is a beautiful AMHA first premium stallion of only
78 cm. Don Diego is doing very well at American
shows. We also want to make Spirit a real show horse
but first he can play happy with his friends in
the pasture.

Stal Zegwaard will be present at the Horse Event 2010
There is no other equestrian event in the Netherlands
to match Horse Event. Over its eight years, the event
has grown into a mega happening. For three days, horses
and riders are the centre of attention on the 16-hectare
site in Deurne. Every day more than 150 educational clinics
and lectures take place in 17 different arenas.
The programme is innovative and diverse and, together
with the magnificent location, ensures that all horse
lovers (28,500 edition 2009) enjoy a unique experience.
It doesn’t matter whether they are fanatical competitive
riders or whether they are leisure riders, whether they
like dressage or western riding: their hunger for knowledge
and their willingness to buy is insatiable.

NMPRS mare inspection

Saturday
the 28th of August 2010 the annual NMPRS mare inspection
took place and, of course, Stal Zegwaard has also
taken part again and not without success.
Three foals of our passed away top stallion Special
Effort. Dolcevita achieved a 1B premium, Bologna
has earned a 1A , Andora a 1B en Ubanta (Father
Navajo) aswell achieved a 1A.

took place.
1. Stal Zegwaard went there with 2 offspring of our new
stud Polvorin from Argentina.
Falabella Furtado with mare Carmencita (Gilette) achieved
a 1st premium. And our yearling Silver Bay mare Falabella
Ensenada from Andina (Menegucho) achieved a 1st premium
aswell! |

NMPRS
stallion inspection 2010
Saturday the 10th of April was the NMPRS Stallion inspection
and, of course, Stal Zegwaard again took part and not
without success.
Laurel Acres, Hello American Pie was ahead in its class
and has achieved a 2A premium, directly behind him was
Falabella Ricardo drawn up to a 2B premium.
Falabella Bam Bam has earned a 1b premium and Falabella
Mowgli a 2C and Selection has done very well in his class
with a 2C premium. |
